Lighting Connector Block CN-5

Lighting connector block CN-5 features 5 poke-in connectors with + and – terminals connected electrically in parallel. This allows a 24Vdc power supply to be connected to one input terminal, and the output terminals can distribute this power to up to four LEDengines type V at the same time. The lighting industry uses poke-in connectors because they allow rapid connections to be made, but this connector block could be used in any situation where rapid connection is required. The connector block comes supplied with 2 x 12mm stand-offs and 4 screws.

 

 

Luminaire Sleeve

Extruded aluminium sleeve which fits around LEDengine-C and LEDengine-CF to enable construction of a compact light housing.  It is 43mm long and silver anodized to prevent corroasion.  It can be used like this, powder coated, or stripped and re-anodized.  It comes with 8 self-tapping screws to allow fitting of the front and back plates.

Luminaire Back Plate

Pre-anodized punched aluminium backplate to fit luminaire sleeve SS-43. It has 4 screw holes that line up with the screwports on the sleeve extrusion and holes for the airflow required by the LEDengine. It comes in 2 types. PRCS1 has a hole for one poke-in connector and suit LEDengine-C, whereas PRCS2 has holes for 2 poke-in connectors and suits LEDengine-CF.

Luminaire Front Trim Plate

Luminaire front trim plate PFS1

Pre-anodized punched aluminium trim plate to fit the front of luminaire sleeve SS-43. It has 4 screw holes that line up with the screwports on the sleeve extrusion and holes for the airflow required by the LEDengine. The purpose of this plate is to conceal the cut edges of the extrusion. It is not intended to fit tightly around any reflector. There must be a gap between the trim plate and the LEDisk at the front of the LEDengine to allow airflow during operation.

Lumotrix offers a range of array plates to allow construction of larger light fittings using LEDengine-V. They are made from 2mm thick pre-anodized and punched aluminium. They feature 4 corner holes to allow mounting of the plates using M5 screws and all except AP2x1 feature additional holes for mounting connector block CN-5.
